The centrepiece of this upgrade is the OPTION ROCK-8 D2, a 20 cm passive subwoofer with bass reflex enclosure. Compared to the original Harman Kardon subwoofer, the ROCK-8 D2 offers significantly improved low-frequency performance. With up to 3 dB more bass power, it provides powerful and precise bass that can not only be heard but also felt. The dual voice coil with 2 x 2 ohms enables flexible connection options, optimally matched to the Harman Kardon power amplifier. Great Product!
Purchased for my MK 8.5 w/Harmon Kardon and dramatically improved the bass in the car, as well as taking less than 5 minutes to install. In my opinion this is a "must have" for anyone that enjoys music of all types. Perfect fit, perfect product! If you're deciding whether to buy or not, just buy it. You will NOT be disappointed!

ROCK-8 D2 OPTION - Mk 8.5
Excellent upgrade from the factory Harmon Kardon subwoofer that came from the factory. The bass is more pronounced and provides more depth. If you are want an easy upgrade, better sound, and incredibly easy install while maintaining the factory spare tire, you want this!

Extrem zufrieden
Sehr schnelle Lieferung, extrem einfacher Einbau und genau das Upgrade was man sich eigentlich ab Werk schon für das Soundsystem gewünscht hätte. Auch die Videos von ARS24 sind extrem informativ und haben mich eigentlich erst auf den Subwoofer gebracht. 5 Sterne für Produkt, Service und alles drumherum!

Langwierige Lieferung
Schade, Lieferung wurde mit ein bis zwei Tagen in Aussicht gestellt. Jetzt ist sie für morgen angekündigt, was vier Tage Lieferzeit bedeutet. Jetzt hoffe ich sehr dass mich das Produkt wenigstens überzeugt.

Endlich guter Klang im Golf 8
Guten Tag allerseits, ich möchte euch gerne ein kurzes Feedback zum Einbau und Klang des Subwoofers geben. Der Einbau gestaltet sich in der Tat sehr einfach, sodass man hierbei eigentlich nichts falsch machen kann. Ich habe mir ein Jahr lang die originale Subwoofer-Lösung von Harman Kardon schön geredet, doch nach dem Austausch des Subwoofers klingt es nun so, wie man es von einem Soundsystem erwartet, und so hätte es meiner Meinung nach auch ab Werk verbaut werden sollen. Alle Lautsprecher im Fahrzeug harmonieren nun endlich, was einen wahren Genuss für die Ohren darstellt. Ich kann diesen Schritt wirklich nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen.
