VW Crafter 2 / MAN TGE | V3 sound upgrade with DSP6, ROCK-3 subwoofer & front speakers

The V3 complete package offers you a comprehensive sound upgrade for your VW Crafter 2 or MAN TGE - perfectly tuned, completely plug & play and without any modifications to the vehicle. Included: our pre-configured DSP6 power amplifier, the concealed ROCK-3 subwoofer under the seat console and the front loudspeaker kit with door insulation for optimum sound comfort.

DSP6 power amplifier | More power & control

The DSP6 power amplifier delivers 6 x 60 watts RMS and operates the front system fully actively - woofers and tweeters are controlled separately. The integrated DSP ensures perfectly tuned sound, optimised for your vehicle.

The connection is made directly to the factory radio via the included plug & play cable set - without a separate cable to the battery. Auto Sense automatically recognises the music signal. Everything is pre-configured by us and ready for immediate use.

ROCK-3 subwoofer | Compact and concealed

The ROCK-3 is a passive 20 cm bandpass subwoofer that is mounted inconspicuously under the seat console - ideal for vehicles with swivelling seats. Despite its compact dimensions, it provides powerful and clean bass without overloading the vehicle.

The connection is made via the enclosed Molex adapter in the 0° position - so the bass phase remains correctly tuned. An incorrect connection (180°) would cancel out the bass effect with the door loudspeakers.

The subwoofer delivers a full bass response even at a moderate volume - ideal for long journeys and enjoying music without booming.

Front loudspeaker kit with door insulation

The OPTION V-165 speakers bring more clarity, presence and bass into the vehicle. 100 % plug & play - no cable cutting, no soldering, no adjustments necessary. The loudspeaker set is complemented by comprehensive insulation material for doors and panelling.

The high efficiency (91 dB) and the 3 Ohm impedance ensure that an impressive sound performance is possible even with the DSP6 power amplifier. The insulation reduces door vibrations and makes the vehicle significantly quieter.

If you find the treble too present, you can cut the yellow cable loop on the tweeter - this lowers the treble range by -3 dB.

Installation & mounting

The DSP6 power amplifier is installed in the passenger footwell, the ROCK-3 subwoofer is concealed under the swivel seat console. The loudspeakers fit exactly into the original positions, including a customised tweeter insert in the A-pillar.

The installation accessories supplied, such as the remover tool, de-spinner, Torx set and insulation materials, make retrofitting easy - even for beginners. The mod switch on the DSP6 is set to "2" as soon as the speakers and insulation are installed.

A 10 mm multi-tooth spanner is required to remove the seat console - please order separately if not available.

Depending on experience, the installation time is around 3 to 6 hours.
