This V1 set combines the compact OPTION DSP-6 amplifier with a passive underseat subwoofer for a powerful sound upgrade in your V-Class (W447, 1st facelift).

The DSP-6 amplifier acts like an acoustic chip tuning: more dynamics, more details and significantly more power for the original speakers. The integrated 8-channel sound processor is already pre-programmed with a vehicle-specific DSP setup - you don't have to adjust anything yourself.

The 20 cm subwoofer with ferrite magnet and robust dual voice coil fits perfectly under the driver's seat (provided there is no additional battery installed). It delivers a powerful low-frequency foundation that complements your music - noticeable for the driver, front passenger and passengers.

This set is ideal for the V-Class W447 (1st facelift) - year of construction 2020 to 2024 with standard sound system, i.e. without power amplifier or subwoofer under the seat and if the following factory radio of the first facelift is installed ex works:

For car radios with a Quadlock connection, as in the pre-facelift models without MBUX system, please select the pre-facelift model in the vehicle search.

Installation:

The installation is completely plug & play - no original cables are damaged. The supplied T-cable set is connected directly to the factory radio.

Installation steps at a glance:

• Remove the ventilation grille with the enclosed pull-out hook and loosen the Torx screws behind it.
• Pull out the radio and insert the T-cable set in between - all plugs remain undamaged.
• Securely fasten the DSP-6 power amplifier under the centre console using wide Velcro tape.
• Route the subwoofer cable directly under the driver's seat during installation.
• Loosen the seat with an E14 socket spanner and 40 mm angle Torx, insert the subwoofer and fix it to the original fixing points with metal brackets.
• Secure the cable neatly with the enclosed cable tie and refit the seat.

Thanks to plug & play technology, the assembly can be completely retrofitted and is therefore suitable for leasing.
