Retrofitting a reversing camera is often easy and the installation effort is manageable.

Here is a quick guide to installing a reversing camera:

Determine the position of the camera
Remove the trunk lid or bumper trim
Route the cable into the interior and screw or glue the camera in place.
Remove the power supply for the camera (usually) from the rear light
Route the reversing camera cable to the radio.
Connect the cinch camera input to the camera and connect the reverse signal to the radio
Function test whether the image is automatically displayed by the reversing camera when reverse gear is engaged
