OPTION PULSE-8P Subwoofer 2x 4Ohm
The OPTION PULSE-8P subwoofer is a compact 20 cm subwoofer (chassis designation: OPTION Air8-D4) in a bass reflex enclosure that delivers powerful and precise bass with a power handling capacity of 200 watts RMS. Thanks to its special bass reflex design, it is ideal for use in vehicles where rich bass reproduction is required in a limited space.
The subwoofer can be positioned in the classic horizontal position or on a side wall with the cone facing the wall. This flexible positioning offers a variety of installation options, depending on the requirements and space available in the vehicle. Thanks to the downfiring process, in which the cone plays against a surface such as a wall or the floor, the bass is distributed more efficiently and creates a particularly voluminous sound experience.
The feet are fitted with Velcro feet and therefore offer perfect grip on the boot floor!
The robust housing of the subwoofer is built so sturdily that it can easily carry a sports bag or a crate of drinks without compromising functionality or sound.
The OPTION PULSE-8P subwoofer has a Molex connection, which makes it ideal for OPTION DSP sound upgrades. This makes the connection completely plug-and-play. Alternatively, the subwoofer can also be connected in the classic way using a speaker cable with plus and minus or via the push-pull terminal - maximum flexibility for every installation situation.
Installation
The OPTION PULSE-8P subwoofer is easy to install in various vehicle models. The compact dimensions of 47 cm long, 33.5 cm wide and 15 cm high allow flexible installation in different places in the vehicle without taking up too much space.

Good extra bass
The extra bass in the car gives this a good listening experience. I first installed the DSP and subwoofer, which gave it a little too much bass. After installing the Option woofers and tweeters as well, this gave the best possible sound for this type of soundsystems

Endlich Druck bei Canton im iV (Kodiaq 2 Hybrid)
Klasse Gerät, meine Dashcam liebt´s, der G-Sensor reagiert regelmäßig. Enttäuscht vom Bass (Kodiaq 2 iV Hybrid), der trotz Canton Soundsystem so gut wie nicht vorhanden war, bin ich auf dieses Schmuckstück gestoßen. Platztechnisch ist man im Hybrid ja bei dem ganzen Elektromist doch ziemlich eingeschränkt. Der PULSE-8P passt perfekt unter den Kofferraumboden, wenn man die Styroporschale mit den (für mich) nicht benötigten Kabeln/Adaptern aussortiert. Mit Adapter VW / Seat auf Molex 4Pin + Connector für verpolte Subwoofer innerhalb von wenigen Minuten angeschlossen, ohne neue Kabel quer durchs Fahrzeug legen zu müssen. Dabei direkt und ohne Endstufenaustausch deutlich mehr Bums, als der standardmäßig verbaute und peinliche (irgendwas um die 8-12cm) Woofer von Canton. Aufgrund der abweichenden Impendanzen habe ich mich nachträglich noch für eine zwischengeschaltete Endstufe, in dem Fall die ESX Horizon HXE1000.1D zusammen mit dem HLM HP (High Power) High-Low-Adapter entschieden, seitdem reagiert auch die Dashcam ;-) Sehr geiler Druck beim "Bum Bum", in den Tiefen beim "Brummmmmmmm" könnte es schon noch ein bisschen mehr sein. Dafür, dass er nur 200rms & 20 cm hat, bin ich Top zufrieden.

Top Gerät 🙌
Der Einbau war wie erwartet sehr Easy. Ich habe mich für diesen Sub entschieden, weil ich keine Mulde in meinem Superb IV habe und dennoch nicht auf Kofferraum verzichten wollte. Der Sub trägt nicht dick auf sondern erfüllt den Klang genau da wo ich ihn brauche. Ich habe außerdem die Lautsrpecher vorn und den DSP6 Verstärker von Option verbaut. Und natürlich auch fleißig die Türen gedämmt. Zusammen habe ich für meine Verhältnisse das ultimative Klangerlebnis. Falls ich doch mal mit der Fam. in den Urlaub fahre einfach Stecker abziehen Sub raus und Koffer rein 🙌

Klasse Subwoofer
Da ich ja für meinen Bigster die DSP Endstufe bestellt habe musste auch der Subwoofer her. Subwoofer Kabel war bei der Endstufe dabei, also ging der Einbau für den Subwoofer ziemlich schnell.Was soll ich sagen der macht richtig Bums im Auto. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen

schöner Bass per Plug & Play
Hallo, bei meinem Skoda Superb III iV (2022) ist das Canton Soundsystem verbaut. Leider ist der Klang trotz eines Serienmäßigen Subwoofers sehr dünn und klapprig. Da musste sich was ändern! Aufgrund der nicht vorhandenen Reserveradmulde im iV entschied ich mich Aufgrund des geringen Platzbedarfes für den Option Pulse- 8P. Den neuen Subwoofer habe ich mit dem Lautsprecheradapter (VW / Seat auf Molex 4Pin) an den Stecker des Canton Subwoofers angeschlossen. Das schafft wirklich jeder und das auch noch in weniger als 5 min. Das gesamte System klingt jetzt richtig gut! Hat jetzt ordentlichen Bassdruck. Der Subwoofer lässt sich sogar in den Canton Klangeinstellungen regeln. Klare Empfehlung Danke ans ARS24 Team! SG Alessandro
