OPTION AIR-D1 - Quadlock connection KIT | small dimensions - great performance!

With the OPTION AIR-D1 Quadlock connection kit, you get a compact, powerful monoblock for your subwoofer - including a plug & play solution for tapping the signal at the radio

Important: In this set, we work at high level. This means that the power amplifier receives its signal directly from the radio's speaker output (no RCA output required). Advantage: This is the simplest solution, especially for factory radios - and thanks to AutoSense/Auto-Remote, the power amplifier switches on and off automatically in high-level mode

That's exactly what this Quadlock connection set is designed for: signal pick-up via plug & play on the radio, powerful monoblock performance for the subwoofer and full control over filter & level - including level remote control for the front

• AIR-D1 monoblock: compact, efficient and really powerful - perfect for subwoofers
• Quadlock Plug & Play signal tap: subwoofer signal is conveniently tapped at the radio - without cutting any cables
• AutoSense/Auto-Remote at high level: power amplifier switches on/off automatically as soon as a music signal is present
• Fine-tuning: low-pass to prevent booming, subsonic for performance & protection, bass boost to taste

Together, you get a clean, controlled bass foundation that integrates perfectly into the front system - and you can easily adjust the level at any time

Compatibility

• Quadlock: for many vehicles with Quadlock connection on the radio (e.g. many VAG models up to 2014)
• Attention! The set is only compatible if your vehicle does not have a power amplifier installed ex works!

Installation & connection

• Signal tapping at the radio via the QUADLOCK-CONNECTOR (Plug & Play) - no cable disconnection necessary
• The tapped signal is routed to the power amplifier via the Molex system(high-level operation)
• Important: Set the input on the power amplifier to high level. Thanks to AutoSense/Auto-Remote, the power amplifier then switches on/off automatically
• Connect the power supply properly (plus/minus) and set the fuse correctly near the battery - the appropriate cable kit is included in the scope of delivery
• Connect the subwoofer: Strip the speaker cables cleanly, ideally fit wire end ferrules and secure them to the screw terminal
• Adjust the setup: Adjust the gain, set the low-pass and fine-tune the subsonic/bass boost if required
• Place the level remote control at the front (e.g. in the cockpit area) and connect it via a jack

Cable length & extensions (installation near the radio)

The plug & play cables in this set are 1.2 m long - ideal for installation close to the radio (e.g. behind the radio or in the glove compartment). If you want to place the power amplifier in a different location, you will need a suitable extension for the front speaker signal

Notes & optional items

Cinch adapter (included): The cinch adapter is not required in the set, as you are working via Plug & Play High-Level

Subwoofer cable: This set already includes a suitable speaker cable for the subwoofer. If you are using an OPTION subwoofer with Multi-Molex and want a particularly clean plug & play system, you can also order this cable
