The installation kit is required for the installation of the iLX-705DM in the Volkswagen Crafter from model year 2017. The KIT-7VW-CRA contains a custom-fit mechanical frame and mounting bracket (no wiring harness or interface).
Depending on the vehicle configuration, you will also need the following interface: for VW Crafter with radio preparation, the APF-X303VW is required for VW Crafter with original radio, the APF-X320MIB is required
With this optional interface, you can continue to use the steering wheel remote control and retain the vehicle menu via your Alpine system. Please note that iLX-705DM is a modification of the regular iLX-705D.
ATTENTION: This panel can only be used if a radio was installed ex works.
