Born out of the increasingly demanding challenges of modern vehicle technology and the HELIX-typical quest for intelligent solutions, we made the progressive redesign of proven universal loudspeaker systems our mission.
The result: the innovative HELIX COMPOSE platform, which combines classic universal loudspeakers with the advantages of vehicle-specific systems according to the guiding principle "developed in the car, for the car". Innovative materials and the latest technologies paired with smart, practical engineering - the best of both worlds in harmony: very high efficiency, fantastic sound quality and enormous dynamics that fit into any vehicle.

The sound sensation for discerning music lovers

The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between the i7 and i3, created for discerning music lovers with an unleashed ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A fusion of phenomenal sound and unrivalled practicality: developed with the vision of unique speaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. The impedances of all speakers are perfectly matched to our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. In addition, we have implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies, which offer unrivalled practical benefits.

Woofer and subwoofer in one - the best of both worlds

As a 200 mm hybrid speaker, the Ci5 S200FM is the perfect balancing act between a woofer and a subwoofer, with an exceptionally long excursion, high power handling and high volume. With its linear excursion of +/- 7.8 mm (D2: +/- 7.5 mm), controlled and clear bass reproduction is always ensured - even at high levels and low frequencies. The aim was to develop a speaker that works perfectly in BMW under-seat and Mercedes dashboard applications without any compromises, despite the extremely low installation depth of 47 mm.
Thanks to the FlexMount200 technology, the Ci5 S200FM can be integrated simply and easily and its design opens up completely new integration possibilities.

High-tech polymer composite basket

All HELIX COMPOSE i7, i5 and i3 speaker baskets are made from a high-tech polymer composite material, which is additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result: maximum stability with minimum natural resonance, whereby flux modulation of the magnet system is also excluded and there is also maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, the cage dimensions are much more compact, which simplifies installation in confined spaces.

Flexible connection - 2 x 2 or 1 x 2 ohms

The chassis are available as either 1 x 2 Ohm (S2) or 2 x 2 Ohm (D2) versions. This means that there is always a suitable woofer for every conceivable amplifier configuration - whether monoblock, two-channel power amplifier or even multi-channel amplifier - to maximise performance.

FlexMount200 - Universal meets vehicle-specific

FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows COMPOSE FlexMount speakers to be installed in an almost infinite number of vehicles. This turns the universal speaker into a vehicle-specific speaker in no time at all, which can be installed easily and acoustically optimised in the original installation position of any vehicle using the matching FlexMount ring.
