If you don't necessarily want to install huge bass speakers with separate amplifiers in the boot, but ultimately find that small active under-seat subwoofers don't provide enough bass, then you have found the best compromise with the GTI800A system: With a footprint slightly larger than an A4 sheet of paper, the enclosure hardly takes up any space in the boot, but rewards you with a convincing bass performance thanks to the larger internal volume.
A powerful 20 cm (8") woofer draws on the full potential thanks to a fully-fledged 200 watt RMS Class A/B amplifier and ensures dynamic and deep bass. In addition to the RCA inputs, the integrated amplifier on the side also has high level connections with an automatic switch-on function. This means that car radios that only have speaker outputs can also be connected. Thanks to the extra equipment, the speaker is also particularly suitable for retrofitting if cinch or remote connections are missing on factory radios.
The high-quality housing, made entirely from MDF, impresses with its heavy weight as soon as you pick it up. Even the front of the enclosure has a double design, allowing the woofer to be flush-mounted. The GTI800A doesn't have a problem with consistently high levels: the surround has also been double-stitched to the cone. Visually, the compact speaker impresses with its bicolour design, elegantly embroidered Crunch logo and chrome-plated protective brackets.
