Main features:
The OPTION AIR-165SLIM offer balanced sound, high-quality materials and a particularly shallow installation depth - ideal for vehicles with little space in the door area. The 25 mm silk dome tweeter sounds warm and high-resolution, remaining clean and detailed even at high volumes. The 16 cm bass-midrange driver with 3-ohm voice coil makes optimum use of the power of your car radio and delivers powerful bass and clear mid-range - without the need for an additional power amplifier. For maximum dynamics, you can optionally operate the system with an amplifier (recommendation: 50-100 watts RMS).
The compact cable crossover divides the signal cleanly between the tweeter and woofer and reliably protects the tweeter from low frequencies and therefore from overloading. There is also a practical -3 dB tweeter cut if the tweeter needs to play a little more discreetly. For normal volumes, use the red cable without attenuation; for a more pleasant, quieter tweeter reproduction, use the cable with the -3 dB mark. Experience has shown that most users prefer the lowered version for a particularly harmonious sound.
Installation & support:
The small cable crossover is simply looped in before the tweeter and can be stowed away flexibly thanks to its compact size. Universal installation accessories are included so that you can use different installation locations without any problems.
Depending on the vehicle, additional installation parts such as adapter plugs or speaker rings may be required so that the speakers can be optimally installed. If you are not sure which accessories are suitable for your vehicle, our support team will be happy to help you find the right components.
