This set is the ideal solution if you want to take the factory-fitted OPTION ROCK-10 subwoofer in your Audi Q4 e-tron with Audi Soundsystem (ASS) to the next level. The ROCK-10 alone delivers a richer, fuller bass than the original subwoofer. However, the additional AIR-2 power amplifier provides exactly the extra power needed to deliver significantly more intensity, dynamics and impact in the bass range. Especially at higher volumes, the subwoofer sounds noticeably more intense, powerful and controlled.

Added to this is the simple installation: the AIR-2 power amplifier sits out of sight in the recess in the boot; all cables are designed for a neat and reversible installation; and nothing needs to be cut, adjusted or modified. This set is therefore aimed precisely at anyone who wants not only a richer, fuller bass, but also a significant increase in intensity.

Important information before purchasing

• This set is not intended for the original Audi subwoofer.
• The original subwoofer would reach its load limit too quickly with the additional power.
• This set is intended exclusively as an add-on for the OPTION ROCK-10 subwoofer that is already installed.
• The small blue connecting cable at the input of the power amplifier must also be used; otherwise, no sound will be produced.

Installation

• Open the fuse box on the driver’s side and prepare the positive cable
• Route the positive cable over the sill trims and into the boot
• Secure the earth cable to the designated threaded position in the recess
• Connect the original subwoofer signal to the AIR-2 power amplifier
• Insert the blue extension cable into the input on the power amplifier
• Connect the output cable to the OPTION ROCK-10 that has already been fitted
• Secure the AIR-2 power amplifier to the side using the supplied Velcro tape
• Adjust the gain and optional low-pass filter to your liking
